*Affirmation of Faith

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried. He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the everlasting life. Amen

Happening This Week at Emanuel


A "Thank Offering" will be received for Pastor Ricky and presented to him on Sunday, December 20th


Tuesday Night Bible Study  will meet on December 1st at 7:00 at the church parsonage. Pastor Ricky will be doing an indept study of the Epistle of James. Zoom will be available for those who would like to join us remotely


Event Planning Meeting for 2021 to be held on Sunday, December 6th at 3:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. Everyone is invited to come and be a part of this meeting


Cooperative Community Ministry! Emanuel Reformed will be haviung a Thanksgiving / Christmas bag(s) for each member/person to collect items for CCM each day from November 8th until December 6th (see insert). We hope that you will take more than one (1) bag and help fill it up for this worthy cause. On Sunday, December 6th you will carry your bag(s) to the altar, and we will have a decidcation of the Thanksgiving/Christmas bags. The list of items are located on the table as you enter the foyer


CCM in addition to the items that we will be collecting to fill our bags, also needed are the following items anytime you can purchase and bring to the church: Canned Potatoes, Boxed Mac and Cheese, Ravioli with pop tops, canned meats such as Vienna Sausage and Spam, etc


Visit with Santa. Saturday, December 12th 9:00am to 11:00am in the Fellowship Hall. Kids will receive a goodie bag from Santa (see insert)


Contribution envelopes - if you would like to make changes to your 2021 contribution envelopes please contact our church treasurer by Sunday, December 6th 


We are working on the 2021 Directory. All those responsible for reports, please begin prepartion to complete them so that your directory may be received in a timely manner. We need for each one of you to look at your 2020 Directory and make sure that your addresses, and telephone numbers are correct. (as we have had some mail returned to us due to incorrect information. Also Lay Greeters, ushers, Acolytes and /or Altar flowers will be printed the same as in the 2020 Directory unless you tell us otherwise. If you want it changed please let us know ahead of time (by either contacting the church office or giving us a note) as it is important to you I am sure that it is worded correctly in memory, in loving memory, honor etc. we want to make sure we have it correct for bulletins going forward. Thank you.
